I’m surprised no one has mentioned this, but these ‘seemingly random’ warm-up passes are actually highly choreographed and exactly the same across most teams. While there are some regional differences, The Ream Dummy, the Weah-Weston push, and Christian’s arm swinging are all distinct assigned roles, that are fairly well understood at both the club and international level. Most of these players have conducted these exact sequences for 10, 20 years!
According to the webs: "TUDN reporter Michele Giannone confirmed that Kellyn Acosta has been with the USMNT camp as a training player" and also as an emergency backup, I guess. In case it gets really windy
Most people don't understand or appreciate the subtleties of a training camp video. Watke isn't most people.
Holy shit I’m deep down the subculture well…and feeling good about it.

Am I missing something. Is Kellyn Acosta in camp? Who is the Acosta in the Dest ball group???

Acosta went to camp because Johnny was significantly delayed in getting there.
Next analysis, potentially examine the weighting of a pass. Perhaps categorize them in tiers:
1=soft, most likely did not want to give up the ball.
2=normal, routine pass
3=hard, either forcing a pass or an expression of anger.
