Training under a coach who wears a hat this way and not laughing at him will take discipline, the kind of discipline our players failed to show in the Copa.

Luckily as you pointed out, it does look like it's only for larger, more structured hats. Let's hope USSF can set Poch up for success with a smaller, less structured dad cap and we can all put this matter to bed before it can become a huge distraction.

I think fedora is probably the move to really change the culture and make a statement. Media would be buzzing, fans would be clamoring, and it would demand a certain level of respect from the players.

Googling “Argentine hat,” the first result appears to be a flat-brimmed number called a “gaucho hat” (in what I imagine to be a translation from sombrero gaucho or perhaps even sombrero de gaucho). Perhaps this is an opportunity to just delve into the reining world champions’ culture even more deeply. Could be a deeply respectful move to present him with one

I was deeply concerned about the impacts of Berhalter's firing on jobs in the bounce pass analysis industry, it's encouraging to see that innovation always finds a way. We need to implement a jobs traning program to retrain bounce pass analysis workers to support the hat-ears industrial complex, ASAP
